Catalan salad Milano Centrale


  • Prawns or king prawns;
  • Mixed salad leaves, thinly sliced;
  • Cherry tomatoes;
  • Fennel;
  • Celery leaves;
  • Tropea red onion;
  • Black olives;
  • Salt;
  • sale;
  • Pepper;
  • Balsamic vinegar.


Prepare the prawns: remove the heads, boil the water with a garlic clove, celery and persil leaves, onion and lemon.

Leave the prawns to boil for a few minutes, then pat them dry, peel and devein them, and set aside.

Wash and prepare the vegetables. Thinly slice the fennel, celery, onion and salad; chop the olives, cut the cherry tomatoes into slices. Transfer all the ingredients into a large bowl, add salt and pepper to taste, together with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, then add the prawns.

Toss all the ingredients together and leave them to sit for a few minutes. Enjoy this dish with a good glass of white wine.
